Why oh why a Chloe page?
Including a page devoted to our daughter Chloe may well seem a tad strange for a business. We hope you will excuse this indulgence as a promise given is a promise which should be kept. Ever since we changed the name of our family photography business from Shaggy Dog Productions to SD Photos, Chloe (only 5 years old at the time!) has argued quiet persuasively that the name should really be SDC Photos. After all, our family consists of Susan, David and Chloe!!
Our response has been to encourage Chloe in her photography, and to tell her we would happily change the name to include C in SD Photos when she was ready to embrace the responsibility of being part of the business – making it SDC Photos as she thinks it should be now. We even have a possible logo design which Chloe loves and cannot wait to see on every page.
Anyway, we also promised that in the interim, we would put up this page to display the SDC Photos logo, along with samples of her developing skill and creativity as a photographer. What follows are some of Chloe’s photos, taken with her trusty Panasonic Lumix digital camera.
2009 – 5 years old: Chloe shows a good ‘eye’ for composition and is able to pose Mum & Dad without our help.
2008 – 4 years old: Having fun experimenting with her camera. Learns how to zoom and has as a fixation for flowers!
2007 – 3 years old: A promising start. Is given her own camera so she too can take photos when out and about with us.
