Let’s elope – well sort of!

Liz and Matthew Portrait - Shaggy Dog ProductionsI guess this is as near as we’ve ever come to a couple who chose to run away and elope – it’s one wedding I wish I was able to help Susan shoot.

It’s not every day you get a call from the other side of Australia, asking if you were able to shoot a wedding all the way over here in Perth. Even more intriguing, the ‘bride-to-be’ doesn’t know it will be in Perth. In addition, you are told there would be no guests, and the only people present would be the bride, groom, celebrant, two witnesses chosen by the celebrant (unknown to the couple) and you. Now isn’t that different!

Anyway, Liz and Matt were a lovely couple and by all accounts it was indeed a most special wedding. How romantic! Susan came home thrilled to have been a part of it.
